Prior to attending law school, I worked as a synthetic organic chemist with Pharmacia Corporation. As a chemist, it was my job to work with a team to envision and create molecules that would be effective as potential cures for a given therapeutic area. This scientific background and training has provided me with a unique insight into the law. Specificity and research are second nature to me.
Like organic chemistry, the legal world is a complex system with many answers and possibilities for each situation. Often, there are many potential outcomes for a single situation. As an attorney, I use this insight to work with my clients to find and craft the best solutions for each of my client’s situations, whether business or personal. By working together, my clients understand the possible solutions and are able to select those that work best for themselves, their families, and their businesses.
It is important that my clients have real and personal solutions that are tailored to work for them, not generic solutions which are typically short lived or inappropriate for their personal situation.
Every client has a unique situation. Therefore, I believe that it is important to listen to my clients so that I may better understand their individual needs and goals, both short-term and long-term. I also believe it is important that clients have a firm understanding of both their situation and how it relates to the legal process.
By working closely with my clients, I am able to help them understand where they are when they arrive at my office and to help them to make the right decisions to ensure that they are comfortable and confident in their lives after their matter has concluded.
My goal is that my clients will have everything they need to succeed as they move into a new phase of their lives, both personally and professionally.
